EIGH-T 

The house was in a decay stage when the client received the key for the first time. The only room that had natural light was the front room (living area), while the other two bedrooms and bathroom has been left in dark. The renovation of the house focuses in 2 areas: to take advantage of the roof form to create richness for the space and to bring natural light and ventilation to all rooms. We replace the material of the Southwest part of the roof to fiberglass to capture the ray of East light while avoiding the harsh West light. The amount of skylight is 20% of the total roof area to avoid overexposing the space while still creating enough contrast between each of the function.
