
Guyana Administration Center in Georgetown is a feasibility study for a micro typical model of the complex in order to replicate to other towns and cities all over the country.
In respect to the climate as well as region material, the project mainly uses brick and wood louver to well-shade the common area as well as creating ventilation throughout. The reflecting pool along central axis is to reflect the main administration office and maintain the comfortable temperature for the plaza. The Oval plaza is embrace by the covered walkway that links to all functional blocks.
The building blocks are oriented inwardly surrounding courtyards to reduce the heat and increase overall green area for the plan. The design focuses to create bond between administrative work with citizen, thus symbolize the country’s democracy.
