The house faces West, which is the disadvantage for a front room. The design reduces the openness of the facade to avoid direct West light penetrating into interior space. Windows open on the side to gather diffuse light. By creating waving exterior walls, the facade not only catches aesthetic sunlight with curved shadow but also helps natural light bounce deeper into interior.
