EIGH-T 

Blooms & Brews is a hybrid cafe/ flower shop that centralized around the DIY idea, where customers can choose and wrap flowers by themselves while enjoys beverage made by robotic arms.

The main spatial concept aims to create the contrast between the sleek, automated technology with organic, tactile spatial form.

The façade is inspired by the act of tearing paper — a soft, handcrafted gesture translated into architecture. At each corner, the “torn paper” folds outward to create functional elements such as canopies and seating, blurring the boundary between form and utility.

The interior embraces the narrative for the customer: from automated convenience to organic creativity. On one side is the robotic cafe arms surrounding by flowers where customers can choose by themselves. On the other side, at the center of the space lied the flower ceiling and a sinuous counter for flowers wrapping and arrangement. The floor pattern is shifted and staggered slightly to create a dynamic and handcraft to the space.
