Staring with this project, the initial idea from our client was using palette black/ white with much high contrast.

With that, we has developed the scheme with big black seamless panel running along from the dining area to living space. The kitchen has been changed to open type to enlarge common space, create fluid movement between living and dining space. The gold island counter is a central piece which compliments to the black wall as a golden lacquer stroke on the black wood panel. The lighting has been used are indirect to create the cozy ambient and enhance the depth of space.
